    摘要

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join Human Genetics and Targets home within the Discovery Science department. This role focuses on discovering and validating novel drug targets for inflammatory diseases by leveraging cutting-edge genetics, -omics, and cellular approaches to drive therapeutic innovation in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

    About the Role

Internal Job Title: Senior Scientist I/Senior Scientist II

    Position Location: onsite, Cambridge, MA

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Identify and validate therapeutic targets for inflammatory diseases, investigate disease mechanisms, and develop novel drug candidates.
    • Extensive experience in 2D/3D cell assays with cell lines, stem cells/iPS, primary or immune cells (macrophage/microglia), and advanced models like organoids and co-cultures to assess immune responses and cell interactions.
    • Perform mechanism-of-action studies using molecular and cellular methods such as cytokine analysis, Western blotting, flow cytometry, qPCR, immunofluorescence, and barrier assays.
    • Engineer human cell models using CRISPR and siRNA technologies for functional screening and/ mechanistic studies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Stay current with scientific literature and advancements, contribute to the publication of research findings and present at scientific conference.
    • Mentor/train junior colleagues.

    • Experience in conducting genetic functional studies using primary human or rodent cells, and in vivo murine inflammation models.
    •  Prior experience in inflammation research, particularly neuroinflammation or intestinal inflammation.
    • Demonstrated track record of scientific publications and conference presentations.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year for Senior Scientist I, and $93,800 and $174,200 per year for Senior Scientist II.
